hey guys did a search but im wanting more specific answers!!! i am thinking of going N/A with a cometic head gasket (high comp) when my original a8 finaly blows, with 35/40 internally gated or externally gated what's best??, standard manifold with spacer, microtech lt10, upgraded injectors, 044, intank pump and surge tank in the boot. what boost would it be able to handle after searching it seems anywhere from 10-20psi is the mark. is this correct??? whats the max psi the setup could handle??? and how much power??? would it be worth going this route or just save and rebuild the a8?? thanks michael

I dont know how hard you searched but these are very common questions that the forum has a lot of info on.

Max PSI.. Max power.. life span.... how long is a peace of string... External gated turbo is better for max power flow, But internal gated turbos are alot cheaper as you dont need an external gate.

searched long and hard!! ur right there is alot of info, it gets a little confusing and everyone's situation and what they want is different hence the reason why i posted certain questions that are more suited to me!! any advice on this topic would be much appreciated. michael

Ive seen 23 psi and 523rwhp outta one of these, its still going too on 20 psi.
