hey guys my vl was broken into out front of my place last night. dogs farked my locks (Solex too) and farked my ingnition right up. need a new barrel. Anyone know of anyone that can fix the ignition or best place to go even? cheers guys i live in the western suburbs

sorry to hear bro., pisses me off everytime i see a new thread on a car stolen/attempted to be stolen. theres been a major increase past few months.

barrels are easy to fix bro go to the wreckers or holden spare tommorow and there a thread on here showing u how to change it

get new OG locks and barells.. think the kit is about 3oo ish but worth it

Hey, i'm in the same boat as you. Except they took my back seat when they couldnt get the car started. Last ignition barrel I got cost me $90 brand new from a local locksmith.

i bought a mate a new barrel off ebay for $40, fit perfectly and came with 3 new keys. Cant go wrong if u ask me.

new barrel from repco is about $40, thats how much i paid 2 years ago, came with 3 keys from memory.

**** repco, its full of dumb fkwits. I've had to go back and forth from there return wrong parts like 5 times in the last 6 months. Burwood repco = nooooooob

who said anything about repco being intelligent? i just mentioned where he can get a cheap barral from. i walked into the thomastown repco, asked for the vl ignition barral, paid and left.
