hey all im looking for some pointers on getting a dint out of my rear right wheel arch, it didnt bother me until i got some wheels and although they only scrape if i have heaps of weight in the back and hit a big bump the new tyres goin on em may scrape i reckon cause they will be 245 as opposed to the 235s now, this was done before i had the car so the paints a bit farked and so im ok with trying whatever, now ive tried a bit of hammering, tried popping it back with a crowbar but im not really sure what im doing so i was hesitant and didnt go all out, any input would be appreciated also ill get pictures if needed but its dark now so i cant cheers

looks like you need to paint that section again anyways , well i would soo go to a auto paint shop or even auto barn and buy a dint puller , with this tool you drill a little hole into the section that is dinted , the dint puller has a thread which u put through that hole then attach the nut and pull towards you .... weld up the little hole , filler the section and paint Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

..i wouldnt be drilling into it a standard panel hammer and a dolly should be able to get that out with ease, if you struggle your best bet is to take it to a panel shop and they will use a spot welder/dent puller on it. if u only want the dent out for u to put bog over it it shouldnt cost u more than $50 just depends how you want to do it. ben

you wouldnt happen to know approx how much a panel shop would just pull the dint out and touch up the paint for, cause im not gonna go for quotes if its too far outta what ive got in my pocket.

To pull the dent out properly without drilling into it they would have to grind the area of the dent to get a pull on it. If you only want the dent pulled out and no filler work etc your probly looking $50 wont be much more than that. If your after a complete repair pull, filler,hiFill etc you could be looking at 300-500 depending were you go. hope that helps you. ben
