Thanks ben PNP, yeah v8, I'm not sure it got a full pass in, everytime i saw it run which wasn't much, it was either doing a shakedown or messy at half track and shut it down. For those who didn't make it, it was a pretty average weekend, friday night cancelled, sunday cancelled, heaps of cars left saturday evening leaving about 40 cars total to qualify for the actual racing (which obviously didn't happen) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Shame the rain set in, was having a lot of fun - guess that's why it's typically held at the end of the month, not the beginning! aZ, got to have a look at your car, man... love it! Sorry I didn't come introduce myself... few other familiar faces around the pits, too

Yeah first thing I did was put a filter on the camera. Got a bit of rubber on it but itll come off.

yer my mate and i were speaking to the owner full old bloke and his car was sleeper as, would never pick it to be a low 10 second car apparently its running a pretty standard ls1 and on 8psi makes around 500kw he also mentioned it was a handful on the street lol

yer i looked at him a bit weird wen i heard that but ive heard of cars supposedly having 500rwkw and only running a low 10 wont mention the car but just goes to show that dyno figures mean jack sh1t

that vn is a local car, u guys might remember it from street commo's when it had a carby LS1 in it? A turbo LS1 (346ci) WONT make 500rwkw on 8psi, it just aint that efficent. If it was run on pump fuel its making around 300-340rwkw id personally think to run 130mph in a vn, which when u think about the hardware its got sounds about right. Anyone thats driven anything with over 300rwkw on the street will kno its a handful, and the difference between 300rwkw and 500rwkw on the street is just the amount of smoke shes blazing off the tyres lol.

Brett, I went 10.1@136 and a best mph of 138 (390kw and 1500kg for those playing the dyno game ) But now that it's lifting a wheel as soon as it puts it down it unloads the rear tyres and thats why it was so messy, my slicks were past the wear indicators so that may have something to do with it So pretty confident a 9 will come fairly easy, just gotta sort some tyres out. CHRGD6, you should have come said hi, waiting in the pits gets boring when people keep breaking things and tagging the wall (glad she was alright btw, torrie wasn't so good though) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
