Hey guys, just thought i'd post my SL. I'm new to the site so feel free to give me some feedback, much appreciated. I bought the car about 6 months ago for 2 and half grand and it looked like this at the time: (sorry, didnt take any great photos) It has about 250 on the clock but still goes pretty well. The guy i bought it off decided to take the badges off with a knife i think: and i got some rust with her: The car has had 2 previous owners which i know of and i'm nearly 100% sure its been resprayed during its time. Or Garaged... It came with a Kenwood head unit and some crappy 6x9's. I have some Kenwood 7x10's at home and a sub and amp ready to go, not to mention another 2 sets of 6'' for anywhere else. Got some more damage along the way: I don't have a great job so things are taking a while So then i started doing little things to it. I put an exhaust tip on it: By that time i got pretty sick of the wheels because they were too wide and kept scraping, and i didnt want to camber them. I got rid of them and put some ceptors on. Which looked alright, expect it was riding too high, so i grabbed some king ultra's and put them on all round. (sorry, no photos again, i took pics the other day after all of this was done ) I really havent done too much to it, its purely cosmetic. I like it for the moment though. I put some calais back lights on it: and a different steering wheel: Along the way someone also decided to put a taco metre in the dash. But this is what it is today: Thats pretty much it for the moment. Immediate future plans are to run a 2 1/2'' exhaust and put a manual in, which i have already, just no clutch parts. When i'm off my P's in about a year and a half, i'l definately turbo it. Thanks, hope you like it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looks pretty good man its tidy as, but is that front bar in primer? shouldnt cost too much to get painted i dont think, for plastic bars im pretty sure itl only be about 200-300 bucks to get done Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah the fron't bumper is in primer. i'm about to loose my liscense for 3 months so when that happens, i'l start fixing things up like the bumper, front right quarter panel, exhaust.

i descided against the calais lights a few days later, decided i want to keep the stock look for the moment. no point mixing it up if i havent even got the calais rear garnish decided i got sick of the calais lights seeing as i didnt even have the rear garnish for it or the boot mold. so i want to keep it stock looking for now *woops on the double post. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
