Well i bought another 5 speed calais tonight. Has no Rust in usual spots, has all been fixed already, all bumpers were sprayed not to long ago all in mint condition except rear has some scratches, Has had passengers door lock shaved off. things on the to do list - silver bumper trim - Calais skirts (its missing them) yes it is a genuine calais - Mags, have VT SS 17s but dunno what will look better out of them or stock - Replace gearbox (is noisy) - general clean up - replace rear lights and garnish, re paint boot moulds - venetions fo sho - new igniton and locks - new centre elec window switch - new manual surround only have the carsales pics at the moment will get some better ones soon. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looks good man..leave the calais wheels on, lower it a little bit and will be perfect.. dont go the vt ss.. hw many kays she got?

Done 270ks but engine is quite as a mouse, just gearbox is noisy. Is lowered a little now but am thinking will slam it a bit more. I really love this colour scheme on a calais

colour is silverslate .. rare colour to have is the interior red... and wat happen to the side skirts Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah i know i wish it had the red interior aswell lol. the guy said he didnt like them so he took them off and gave them to one of his mates , and when the bumpers got resprayed they sprayed under the door moulds to. also its not asteroid silver its a slightly brighter colour some honda silver he said. morning blue then silverslate then mulberry... my 3 favourate colours in order looks really really nice keep the calais rims on it, lower it 2" ALL AROUND not just rear like a hero on the dole and yeah very nice Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Dont worry mate all of my cars that ive lowered ive done the front first or straight after. there is nothing worse than just the rear of a car lowered coz it all got a little to hard when some back yarder tried to do the front thats how my old calais sat, dont think im gonna go quite that low with this one Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

me to thats one of the reasons why i bought it lol. fixed a few things tonight. new ignition so you actually need a key to start it now. new radiator cap, and got horn working. still yet to put in new door locks. think im gonna put the passenger door lock in even though its been covered over and painted, looks like its just been boged over so could be pushed through real easy. as for turbo plans, possibly in a little while just wanna get everything fixed on it first then will think what path i wanna go down with it

got a 2 1/4 cat back with rear muffler removed and 3'' dump tip thanks to Daniel (barnsley) off of here on Friday and put it on yesterday. looks so much cleaner than the cannon lol. took out tape deck today and put my CD player in, wasn't original tape deck but dam it was in there good, had to take half dash apart. must have bumped the heater controls or something coz now it doesn't light up so have to have another look tomorrow. will get some new pics up soon Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

picked up new in tank fuel pump and new calais tail lights tonight. waiting for SSL king springs to come in post also new center garnish stripes should be here soon. then boot mold, eye brows and center garnish getting painted, gotta pick up new calais badge from rarespares. so rear end should all be done by next week ready for c4c
