Is there any other LINK suppliers or tuners in Melbourne's eastern or south eastern suburbs? Apart from the expensive AVO.

Yeah I reckon. When I had AVO install my LINK G3 they just slapped it in the kick panel not mounted. I'm in Warragul Gippsland(1 3/4 hours drive from AVO) and had to drive back there to have them install it properly (mounted). It was just sitting their in the kick panel rattling around. lazy buggers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah, YEP_Boost had his done with one of the earlier links, has a lovely throttle response and power band for a T3/4. It might be a fair way away but a good tune is worth it. Did you tell AVO you weren't happy? It might be worth going in and chatting to them about it so that it doesnt happen again and you get looked after a little bit with price?

Yeah I'm thinking about going back their, Lee Wilson seems to know his stuff and It's funny the Mechanic/Tuner Steve still works their, I remember the old days back on Springvale rd & Centre rd Springvale(AVO) he was working then. And he love the VL's. The car runs prefectly but I was abit upset about the mess they left inside the passangers side kick panel. But it was fixed and I'm still happy with the way the car runs & performs.

Well..... If you were overall happy with the result, talk to them about the finished product as a whole. They would probably look at you talking to them about the issue as a positive and as a way they can get repeat customer's. Worth a shot!

Steve no longer works for AVO either, he sometimes consults for them.
