i have a impco 425 mixer on my rb30 turbo, it revs nice and trys to boost and them its like you turn the key off, but the 425 is shutting off, is there a hose or something missing that i need, it keeps on blowing the gasket out on the hat i made to go over the mixer

talk to albert lamb at howes automotive in daylesford, he setup my 425 on my rb30et and it worked fine.

are you running a balance line to the converter? it runs from the hot side of the cooler piping to the top face of the converter as soon as the mixer sees boost without one it will close up and seal the diaphram - meaning no gas will get through at all. if you do have one, make sure it is setup correctly.
