I PROMISE I have done searches. I've looked and looked. I need to find out how to go about replacing my p/s pressure hose. I'm getting mixed answers, crimp it my self, go to the wreckers, buy a new one (do they still make them?). Someone even said i'd have to go to a hydrolics specialist to get it fixed. so.. a) What do people usually do to fix the pressure hoses on a VL? & b) If I got a hose crimping kit (provided I can find a cheap one) could I do my a/c hoses with it too? I'm loosing a litre per 5k's, i have 12 empty p/s bottles in my boot.. help.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Is it definitely the high pressure hose? I would get some hose specialist place like Pirtek to make me a new one. The old one probably can't be fixed, wreckers ones are all second hand, and it wouldn't cost that much to get a new one made.

It's leaking from the first join at the rubber, but theres oil all over the hose. Does anyone have a price on what they paid when getting there p/s line replaced? An estimate maybe?
