ok ive done a few searches on here and couldn't find any info ,my vl non-turbo rb30 has no exhaust on it and only has headers and a cat , im turning it into my drag car but was wondering if no exhaust will damage my engine should i make up an exhaust with just one muffler on it to protect my engine? also how do you get the front guard off a vl so i can remove my antenna ive searched and found nothing on that as well ,thanks any info or help would be greatly appreciated .

it wont hurt the engine at all, but i would atleast make up a side pipe so it exits out the side, one flame and you could set the car on fire! the 1/4 panels pretty easy, there a re 2 bolts inside the car behind the kick panels, usually covered in goop the rest you can see quite easily

re: taking out the antenna... you don't have to remove the 1/4 panel to do so (unless you want to also do extra work to the 1/4 panel itself). Take the front left wheel off (have the car on jack stands on firm flat ground), then take off the plastic inner guard and presto - access to behind the 1/4 panel!
