ey i just installed a podfilter on my vs. duno but probs a stupid question, it makes a loudish hissing noise sortof like a **** blowoff valve hiss when the car is going slow or around 1-2000rpm. IS THIS NORMAL ?? or hav i installed the poddy wrong?? ALSO, the pipe to which the podfilter is attached, there is a small electrical box type thing. just wonder wat that is? because there is a wire with a plug that is attached to it that goes into the radiator sumwhere. there was one of these plugs that i had to unplug from my old air filter. is it bad to have it left unplugged? or any other info would be much appreciated because i am still learning about cars and want to learn as much and as fast as possible.. thanks

They always make a hissing noise from what i found. In regards to the extra wire, sounds like you missed something, but i cant remember what is there on the VS. Most likely an airflow meter...

I take it your setup looks the same as this? Not sure what it is (AFM, Map, etc), but its definately there. Search for more plugs mate, must be something there
