G,day everyone, Just bought my first Vl turbo tonight Its a 5 spd with a small cooler & bov, owned by a lady for 8 years ect ect, The thing i was wanting a little help with is that on the VIN calculator on this site it says its a vl exec fitted with the RB30ET ect but under the hood its got a plate fitted from holden saying "special build VL formula group E" but it dosent say anything on the vin thing though anyway any help would be great fellas, and hope to get a few pics up of the car soon ! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think he just pressed those letter's cause they were close together. Could be some sort of dealer pack special this thing.

When I was 18 I brought a VL formula but unsure if they made a VL Formula Turbo, I think from memory they might have, hell the made so many different models!! On the headrests in the front seats they say formula. cxcxcxvcv can you post some pictures of the car? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looks interesting, seat material appears different to what i've seen plus the carpeted lower door trims and door pockets pics of the plate will help, but sounds to me like some type of dealer pack

Just curious does your dash have a tacho & speedo or a tacho & clock. Usually a way of determining if it's a special build or not.
