jus brought a vn, plan on stripping the whole car to put a 5ltr in it. Its duel fuel. do i take it to a mechanic to remove the tank or to a gas shop? guess not the safest thing to do in the garage unless u know what ur doing. thanks, Kris.

do it outside of the garage man there is no reason why you cant do it at home just disconect everything and go from there but i would do it outside of the garage just to be safe

^^ As above do it outside, theres not much to it but if you opt not to do it yourself, would cost less than $100 for a mechanic to do it, and shouldnt take them anymore than an hour.

take the cover off the tank and theres a valve to close the gas off in the tank. Good luck lifting the tank out if its more than half full.

the tank is almost empty so ill jus keep drivin it up n down my street till it runs empty. Is the valve the one that is on the opposite side to where the hose runs in the boot?

just rememebr, 1 ltr of liquild gas expands into 270 times of vapour. SO BECAREFULL, dont want to see you on the news with a blown up garage or something even worst
