gday, i've had these Pioneer 6" splits (TS-C160R) and 6x9s stitting around for too long, i've decided to bite the bullet and install them. I need help deciding on an amplifier... The splits are 60rms and the 6x9s are 80rms. If you were buying an amp to suit these speakers what one would you get? Can i get an amp that has a higher rms per channel than the speakers? cheers.

The amp is rated at 4 x 130wrms 14.4volts. Your car battery usally runs at 12-13volts so you should be fine. It will proberly run at 4 x 100wrms. As Mad Wog said just have the gain turned down.
