i dont no if there are cams better suited to turbo or not but most guys will be using either a wade 1147 or a 810b both a re grinds and both shouldnt cost you more then 120 change over saying this na and turbo cams might be different

http://www.camtechcams.com.au/cat/holden.html Stage 5 for the n/a RB30 will be so lumpy it will hurt. Its along the specs I would use in a very angry high compression 8 cyl. Its 237 deg @ 50 degree on a 110lsa. Def needs 98 oct fuel, big compression and aftermark ecu with map capabilities.

shave the block and use proper pistons... if its going to be n/a and cranky 10.5-11 is ok on 98 octane just.... if your doing it cheap just take some off the head and use thin head gaskets

yea well im a machinist so machining is no cost, i was hoping for a bout a 10.2 cranky na set up on about a 3 grand budget but i have alot of the stuff already i have an after market ecu lined up, and i already have bigger injectors, all that was really left is the head and cam didnt really wanna rebuild bottom end hoping for a few more rwkw sound real nice but comfy enough to drive too and from work every day seen as my turbo is sitting in the yard haha should i go stage 2 - 3 or 4 according to the description i gave ya? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah don't go to mental. Stage 3 will be fine. You won't need injectors either.
