hi everyone. Im lucky enough to have a friend upgrading his VY Berlina LS1 brake system and has offered to give me his, which will include Calipers, rotors etc etc. What i want to know is will it all fit onto my 4 disc BT1 VL ? and if not what extra is required for me to purchase in order to get it to fit ? Also. i dont plan to make it ABS. Just bigger upgrade from my standard

Please do a search before asking questions covered so thoroughly. 1) No ones puts ABS on older cars. Too much effort, numerous reasons 2) The front calipers will bolt on, however your exsiting discs are not compatible, and the VY discs will not fit over your stub axle. You need hub adaptors, available on eBay (search "VT Hub Adaptors", seen here (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=3&campid=5335860158&toolid=10001&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com.au%2FHOLDEN-VT-BRAKE-ADAPTOR-HUBS-TO-FIT-VB-VQ-COMMODORE_W0QQitemZ120462983354QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories%3Fhash%3Ditem1c0c2740ba%26_trksid%3Dp3286.c0.m14)) 3) You will need some custom made brake hoses, available from RaceBrakes Sydney (http://racebrakessydney.com.au/) (user "LAZYASS (http://calaisturbo.com.au/member.php?u=13238)" off these forums) 4) Don't bother upgrading the rear calipers to VY ones, as they're still just single piston calipers, and no real gain 5) You need to upgrade your brake booster and master cylinder, preferably to a VT Commodore master and booster.
