Hey all,
Im new to V8's and currently im putting a v8 motor into a car that was originally a 6 banger.
Now i've got some new polished rocker covers to put on it but im not sure what to do with the holes on the very ends of either ones?
Do i put breathers on them?
Do i need to run lines anywhere?
any help would be greatful, or pics too to help me would also be very appreciative.
Thanks in advance
(Yes im a noob to v8's)

run them to a catch can.
Is there something availale to block them up until i get the filters to run the catch can? I just want to be able to turn the motor over before i start adding to it.
Thanks
Put a breather or a oil cap on the passenger side rocker cover and run a hose from underneath the air filter( the original already has one in it, if your using an aftermarket chrome air filter, you'll need to drill a hole in the bottom plate and fit an adapter to fit the hose on(that'll need to be screwed on) . The hose joins up to the drivers side rocker cover. but if you don't need it done for rwc purposes just put some breathers in!
I dont need it for rwc purposes, so what your saying i could do for now is just put on two push in breathers? Will having two breathers affect any of the mixtureS?
I'd just run two filters, one each side. It's not going to push out oil like a turbo engine unless its knackered. I've done this on both my V8s for years... occasionally I rub the rocker covers down cause theyre a little misty but never leaks anything out.
