Hey guys, i been lurking here for a while so i thought id take the time to post up about my car, and the progress as i start doing it.. i bought the car at 281XXXk's off a old man in ballarat for 3100 without reg/roady. POSSIBLY the worst thing ive ever done, but hey it was my first car and my money so you do what you gotta do. When i bought i bought my 2.5inch zorst to twin dumpies, painted my tailights black, and slapped a sticker like an idiot.. it looked like this got this 2 days after i got my car fishtailing down nepean highway never drove my car like that again 500 bucks and losing your car for 3 days right after you get it is painfull. then, i thought hey ill just get some pacemaker extractors and sack it on its ass. so it looked like this. then i got myself some big brakes, RDA Slotted and drilled front and back rotors, and also twin piston calipers for the front. and some vy ss's and ceptors on the back it looked like this.. then, i sold the car.. and he got some more work to it! (this is the good part) Engine blew up so did box. So it now has a VX Spac engine with 83xxx On it fresh install with new engine mounts, cost 1380 all up. gearbox is a VX auto with Reconditioned box. Dominator 2500 high stall stage 2 shift kit Torque converter tranny cooler kit ray beasts high energy friction and band kit, two accumulator blocks transgo 500" boost value corvette servo three accumulator pistons. cant read any more of the paper lol sorry cost him 3020 bucks. then he smashed it into the back of another car.. damage is MINIMAL im talking a bump in the radiator support and bonnet and the front guard so i bought it back off him for 1800. (Cars still in my name) Future plans - Respray white over silver New chrome surround Full set of vy ss 18s 20% Tint. and new roof lining and system. then the project will be done. just an update havent got the net so its hard to post, spent all day scattered as taking off my exhaust (its in 2 pieces lol) 2 front guards, hood and bumper, also attached my radiator on to see if the car starts and she got going on my first turn straight up. so tomorrow i should be ripping my old radiator support off and on goes the new 1 radiator, re connect my lines and find a new trans cooler should be a fun day

Whereabouts on Nepean Hwy did you get done? Looks nice, but you really need the rear wheels rolling on the same rims.

yeah i got all 4 vy ss's now but im putting on 15x7 ceptors, i got done in mordi pulling out of the street with the no right turn heading to parky? crossing the train tracks, i did a massive skid and followed through for about 50-100 metres, and got pulled up just after white street, a little update i bought my radiator support and its getting thrown in on friday! got to find a transcooler now. anyway i can find the exact same one thats on my car?? oh and i also need a drivers side gaurd, front bumper and bonnet anyone selling one? put my ceptors on and i drove my car with no front end around keysy to my mates house, **** it was a pissa and when people hear you roaring up the street with a bare motor and nothing in its pretty ****ing hilarious loll anyways weather permitting trying to see how much of my old support i can get off and start to pick my new one off in my shed ready to go straight on, picked up a hood for 150 from the wreckers looks like a freshly sprayed new one and also sourced a calais front bumper thats in green time for a sand! and paint the top half white and clear it all and should be good then its time to get a roady/reg and head to premier tint! weather permitting should be all done in 3-4 days cant wait to drive this thing again its been tooooo long!! on a side note how much is it to get new plates stamped? the guy i got the car off didnt give me the front one little ****sucker!!!
