it goes back before the turbo, just after the air filter, and gets reused by the engine,it gets rid or the compressor surge but with no sound, aaron are you sure your soung is not just compressor surge??

you wont wreck the turbo at all.... why dont you want to plumb back? if you really want one, use a std bosch one (or 2) and plumb them back. but its just a complete waste of time and money!

ok i found a video of the Greddy Type-R BOV my brother was talking about, its like an immitation dose sound but a bov sounds mint to me, my mate had 1 on his mitsi and low boost it would dose and hight boost its sorta like half dose if u understand my language. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4Xdmk7qsGo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzBgO...eature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzBgOL7RtSM&feature=related) (same car and bov but camera on side of car to make it sound better) this is a bov i used to have on my laser b4 i changd it to a dose pipe the tial 50mm bov, very good but i changed cause wanted dose lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQAcVgKPXG4

are GFB bov's any good? how do they compare to turbosmart? there prices are only slightly cheaper than Turbosmart (ie they're not like those $100 imitation ones) so I would assume they would be ok, thats my guess tho.

couple of questions as I'm a bit stuck, I've read that using a atmospheric-venting BOV in conjunction with an AFM causes overfuelling (as the ecu calculates how much fuel to put in for that pressurized air from the turbo, but then that air is let out via the BOV but ecu still puts that amount of fuel in, so it briefly runs a lot richer), and also it can cause the revs to drop below idle when closing the throttle, and sometimes it will stall. Apparently that can be prevented by using a plumb-back BOV, but I really want to be able to hear the BOV. So I'm wondering, would it help if I put the AFM directly before the throttle body, and the BOV before the AFM? would that work fine? I just dont want to go and buy a BOV and then find out I cant use it because it's the wrong type and will cause problems. Oh yea and I plan to run Nistune so AFM is my only choice... cheers Sam

(possbily in conjunction with a z32 AFM). cheers
