I think you would struggle for 10k. It's a very very girly pink colour which would definately put me off. You could easily build it for under that price. Are you looking to sell?

i recon its worth 12k+. not many gen3 vl's goin round, shame it has no engineers cert progmh, i highly doubt youd build it for under 10k...

it cost me alot more than 10 to build. the colour does limit the amount of buyers I'd get (i didn't paint it pink though the colour has grown on me). its factory leather and sunroof too. it'll pass an engineers cert everything has been checked over by an engineer that use to work for Holden, just saving the $$ to get it done. not really looking to sell just wondering what it would be worth. The extractors are from Castlemain twin 2.5 inch high flow cats to single 3 inch sounds good, i think i need to get it retuned not sure what power it had when it was in the VY.

That colour really bring's the whole car down. Badly. And their isn't alot of attention to detail. It looks like someone got a VY SS wreck and transferred the good stuff into it. Good Points: - LS1 with cam - Sunroof - Leather interior Bad Points: - Poorly finished - Terrible choice of colour (And I don't care what anyone says this WILL affect value) - Not engineered - OG Calais Leather interior, which as i have seen can vary in condition. - Single spinner diff. All in all the 10-12k mark sounds about right when you take into account the value of VLT's putting out alot more power. Has alot of potential but I wouldn't be paying more than 11k myself, because then I would have to re-shell it or paint the car again which by the end of it you would end up paying closer to 20k to have a good standard of car on the road. That 20K being paint, diff, engineer and purchase price

cheers mate that was what i was thinking. personally i like the colour now but the only reason i bought the car to begin with was because it had immac leather and the sunroof and it was turbo.

it would be a beautful car... if the colour wasnt so girl... if only the colour was more like JET6 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my misus astra is almost same colour lol....i refuse to get in it... car is good but i agree with YETI... around 10k as it would end up a 20k car by the time it was all finished properly. as for power go see higgins race heads an get your heads an a re-tune done should be up around 300rwkw... nice car all in all.
