was thinking of geting the exhaust side of a turbo ceramic coated and was thinking is it really the kind of thing you want to do? wouldnt you want as much heat as possible to disperse away from the core or your turbo?

Heaps of guys have it done. The heat makes the exhaust gasses pass through faster anyway

Works in two ways, because ceramic is a good insulator, it keeps the heat in the pipes and keeps the bay cooler. Cooler bay means cooler intake temps. Hotter pipes means faster exhaust gases. Same thing for the turbo as well I believe, better operating temperatures.

Question in regards to the chrome looking coatings. Does it stay shiny for long once in use? any pics of a manifold or housing after say 2 years.
