I'm going to respray the VL Calais Turbo, Pearl Blue. What's the going price of full respray?(engine bay, doors, pillars & the rest).

For a flawless (gunbarrel) job your looking at 10k+, but it all depends on the condition of your car, ie: rust, etc..

depends where you go but i would say for the entire car, engine bay and all. top shelf job it would be closer to 15 to 20k My boss had his car painted a couple of months ago by a really good painter, my boss took the car back to bare metal himself the painter just tidied it all up and painted it. cost him over 13k

go to patti panels in campbellfield, they do quality work at a good price. luvmtl - it is a good way to save money but i think most panel beaters would rather do it themselves so they know it is getting done right.

Take my advice most times cheap = crap i learnt the hard way trust me. I know some people do get good jobs cheap but i dont think i'll ever take that chance again. Take my advice and go to a reputable panel shop at least you have some grounds to stand on if your not happy unlike backyard jobs. Just my 2 cents worth...........

I ended up paying 7 for panel work and then painting. But you can get cheap jobs, anything from 1k and upwards. Best bet is to call a few places local and tell them what you want.

I paid $6k about 8 years ago, so that would be $8-10k these days and it still looks decent today. Like most things you get what you pay for. Cheap jobs might look ok for a few years, but if shortcuts have been taken a nice looking job goes off very quickly

A basic same colour externals respray is around $3K at my local, but it does depend on what body repairs are required. Door jams and engine bay will make the costg go up considerably, ofteb more than double. Budget at least $4K for a same colour external respray. Changing colouir requires more preparation, and therefore costs more.
