Guys, Girls. Recommend me some places to go in Bris or Gold Coast. It's a little while off but I'm thinking about keeping the car for a bit longer instead of selling it. So basically I'm probably going to buy exh manifold, new turbo, injectors, fuel rail, pump and computer, and then rock up to a workshop one day and say, put this on! Disappear for a holiday for a few days, then come back and drive it home. Don't know what management yet though, I guess that'd determine the better tuners.

Sweet, no idea when it's going to happen. I'll be staying in the city with a mate assuming he's in the same place when I do it. So, probably 40-50 minutes away?

Do they tune anything or do they have a preferred ecu that they like to work with? I don't know what I want to do, afterall the engine is stock as a rock, stock head, stock bottom end, just rajab inlet and cooler and 3" exhaust. I know the bottom end will handle a lot with a good tune. But should I at very least get a better head setup. Maybe I could just strap it all on and get it tuned and then build a motor on the side. Engine bits aren't my forte.

Dyno Tunz in Browns Plains. They re-tunned my car after another workshop installed a computer tunned my car. The car was making 20rwkw less power than it was with the stock computer and ran like a pig. After going to Dyno Tunz the car has back to where it should have been originaly.

Yeah, I got stung by a local place, most local places. Found out the other day that the place that did most of my work forgot to bolt an engine mount to my chassis I'm trying to avoid opening it up though, I may end up building another motor, so if I can avoid touching this one I will. I will be going to get a NisTune put in mine through EFI Performance when I'm not a broke SOB....

I think from memory EFI tune any ECU, but what computer that has the outputs, injector and ign drivers will be the decision for yor specific application. Depending primarially on what the car is used for, even manual or auto may make the decision sway any way. Best to ring the shop and just confirm

Cheers guys I'll wait a bit until I've got my mind sorted and cash ready and I'll discuss from there. I only really want 200-250rwkw- I know I can get close to that with what I have now but I don't want it to be dodgy - I guess that's why I'll build an engine on the side, ready for the bolt ons etc.
