mate, its not hard, you can probably even attempt it yourself;
but, in my opinion, any audio installer would do near same job as someone whos done more on a vl.
just depends what your after really.Mdf boards in the boot etc.

strathfield and jb hifi will install stuff BUT... because they are a little lazy the wiring isn't always the best.
i would recomend finding a higher end car audio store. there is a dedicated incar entertainment forum called mobile electronics australia.
they will be able to point you in the direction of a good joint. best of luck!
oh and if you want it done right do it yourself!

mm, id disagree on the h/u danny.
i got my h/u installed for $80 and there was a 5 year warranty on the install and problems caused by the install. (autobarn)
worked well and i had peace of mind however when i went to remove the h/u i wasn't very impressed by the wiring job.

I agree with that. It's the only way to know for sure that all the hidden parts are done properly. But it will require a bit of reading up to know how to do it all right.
However, VLs are known to be a pain in the arse when it comes to installing headunits. In my last VL the surround had been butchered a bit by previous owner.
If I was was installing a system again in a VL, I would probably pay a shop to install the headunit, but I would do the rest of it myself. You should pay particular attention to the way you install the speakers - it can make a big difference to the sound.

yeh i no you asked for a good shop to do it for you but its easy... read up on the H/U install on the net and the rest is just easy. have a read on tuning amps and you'll be fine, like SIroller said if you want it done right do it yourself. take your time and double check **** before soldering and i would recommend spending the extra 20 bucks and getting some good quality cabling it will make a difference in sound and long life durability.. and get a capacitor lol, will make a whole world of difference to your sub good luck
