hey guys ive just recently bought a vl turbo and wondering what power differences to expect from say a gktech intercooler kit thanks

put simply bugger all, you would probably lose power if anything. the cooler allows you to run more boost = more power. just bolting a cooler to a stock engine wont do much at all

its already running more boost which is why i want to put the cooler on . dont want it to blow up

thats usually why people put coolers, if you bolt it on to a stock engine it would just work as a huge air filter and cold air intake haha

Air filter? your cooler filters air? odd.. its a support mod, not a power mod. Like injectors, fuel pumps, regs...

on a n/a car yes.

IM JUST STATING A POINT if you put a cooler on a n/a car it would act like a filter because it would be taking place of the AIRBOX! junkie thanks man.. pfft

You might be stating a point, but it's wrong dude lol... Calm down guys who cares no-ones dumb enough to put a intercooler on an n/a it simply allows you to run more boost, makes the air denser and COOLER which makes it flow better. It won't add any extra kw by just slapping one on. But will make it run a lot smoother/better/more efficient at higher levels of boost. That's all.

well thanks everyone. got the info i needed anyway be putting a cooler on it this weekend to hopefully make it run a bit better. anyone selling a 3" system by any chance?
