put the bolt on a few turns,, you dont want it flying off and concussing you when it smashes into your forehead.. trust me it hurts.. do you still have the wheel on anyways?

I've never used a steering wheel puller but it'd be the safest and easiest way to go about it.

lol^^ Hey okla does the boss kit have threaded holes in the centre opposite sides of the splines for the column? You need these for your average steering wheel puller to work. If it doesn't you will prob need an puller with jaws on it....was the only thing that worked to get mine off. Maybe some WD40 therapy and let it penetrate on the column then try pulling it off by hand, and yeah tapping the column at the same time. Careful not to damage the thread...what a nightmare lol

Got defected for the horn and theres no orange horn ring behind the boss kit.. This FPOS boss kit hasn't got threaded holes in it so i can't use a steering wheel puller. I tried a 3 jaw puller and it snapped trying to get the wheel off.. If your boss kit hasn't got thread in it and still wont come off after soaking it in wd40 or similar and bashing the sh1t out of it..you can either.. #1. Buy a tap and die set then drill some holes in the boss kit and tap thread into it so you can use a steering wheel puller. Steering wheel pullers are $20 at supercheap auto. 2#. Get this boss kit puller made. #3. Get a drill and drill the sh1t out of the boss kit lengh ways down to the steering shaft then split it with a chisel. Then replace the boss kit. haha nice looks like you eventually got it off. ill try soaking it with wd40, if that doesnt work ill have to try your way Turbz OK finally i got the damn boss kit off, i tryed to do it again today, while dad was doing something in the garage he was watching me. About 20mins later he comes out with a wheel remover LOL. with the wheel remover it took about 3mins to take it off. And only used WD40 to soak the skrews that were holding in the wheel, they were in so tight i went through 4 alan keys. This is what the wheel removers looks like if anyone needs it happy to help them out Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
