get like the vr/vs door pods screw them into your door trim they looks decent and are not bad looking and they work as a spacer.
or go to jb hi/fi and get some spacers and put them in all the same
and when u gonna be on xbox??? ur never on anymore?

if you have a decent brand speakers in the rear 6", and a good set of speakers up front, and splits, you shouldnt need to put 6" in the doors and it will look heaps better, theres nothing worse then speakers in the doors of a vl, looks terrible and ruins the door trims

how do i get access to the front speakers tho, ive ripped half my dash off to get to itl and still cant.
6''s wont fit in there, only tweeters, but i want these 6''s somewhere.

you can get 4" in the dash i think as where they were factory fitted... whats the big deal about having 6" in the front if it doesnt need it, as said it looks heaps better with out it and i garentee if you get a good set of 4" it will sound excellent

That's one of the same questions you were asking in this thread:

As far as I can see you've already got all the possible answers.

The most logical location for your 6inch midbass speakers is the front doors.
Thats what you told me, A new answer to my problem is purchasing VS/VR door pods.

It's not a "new" answer - it's one of the obvious solutions. Anyone who's been on CT or other commo forums for a while has seen pics of VLs and other models that have been fitted with VR/VS pods.

I only go on CT, not SC or any other of the forums.
And to be honest, for out the months ive been on CT, i havent seen a Vl with VR/VS pods.
Only recently TrickyM showed me a pic.

15-09-09, 21:19 GMT+10#17 removing the stock 4"s is easy. there should be a tech guide on Street commodores.
vs doorpods, either goto a wreckers and remove them or just buy a set. (shameless plug follows) if your interior is beige i have a set of vs stato doorpods which are sandlewood in colour (match std vl beige) and have the black speaker grille cover. the doorpods screw onto the doortrim from behind. there are a ton of screws but it shouldn't take more than 20m all up.
as for vlsabo's comment, 4" speakers as a front stage are useless if you have a good setup. your frontstage is probably the most important to getting a half decent sound. yes cutting doortrims sucks but the sound will be much better than any 4"
haven't seen a vl with doiorpods? scan through the older poages of the ausio section. yes its full of muzzas chopping sheetmetal and requesting song names (annoys me to no end) there are threads like mine that show how to fit the vs doorpods.
