I got a rb30 turbo motor in my lh torana. Im trying to remove the t3 turbo and manifold.
Is it just me or are the middle bolts under the exhaust manifold a ****ing bitch to reach. Graised knucking and cursing galore
Cheers Matt

So there no trick way to unbolt the dump or to undo the oil-water lines. Just a pain then?

Undoing the lines is the easy part. Have fun putting it back together

Guess i gotta suck it up then. Built many cars but this one is the hardest motor iv worked on. V8's and holden sixes are simple. Even with turbos on them.

Man i had a 300zx, it is impossible to fit any hands in a VG30dett small or big lol, need to pull out half the engine to anything worthwhile lol.

20-07-09, 21:18 GMT+10#16 With the stock water and oil lines, bin them and get some braided lines..
the price you will pay is nothing to the time and energy trying to get the stock ones back on.

My tip is don't use a straight spanner, if you know what i mean! (oil line)
1000 small turns on the exhaust manifold : (

20-07-09, 23:29 GMT+10#18 just remove waterline from turbo can leave it connected to block. Oil line is a prick through but just takes time. I ended up getting braided lines to put back on though because it was a massive pain. Waterline is very simple though just put it onto block first then when put manifold on connect to turbo. but yeah oil line is a bitch.
