It's a sad day with the passing of yet another 25 spline na diff. I'd known this diff for approx 5 years and even though he was abused he stuck with his owner and was always faithful when most others wouldnt have been. Today with a transbrake launch on slicks... he said enough is enough. He's off to diff heaven. Rip.

haha i knew it had to happen i mentioned the other day how the hell it was holding up, ive done 2 25 spline diffs and 3 axles or so with nowhere near as much power in the last 3 months.

It went instantly on the first trans brake lol. Didnt move an inch. He did a couple of foot brake passes first though so it wasnt a total waste. Ran same time and mph as previous. 11.8 @ 118

What power is it making, I guess 320-340ish rwhp for that mph? Alot of people underestimate the old 25 spliner... Mine copped limiter dumps on slicks with my old 360rwhp rb25 for 2 years or so, it wasn't an lsd or locked but it used to cut twins always haha. Then it went in jacks burnout pig and got a locker and lasted ages too haha!

best memory of this car was at towerhill macas about 3-4 years ago, when he first got the turbo on it, ripping it up. i had a 25spline in my car for all of one cruise first time i lauched it on hot semi's it **** it self but that was with 3 ppl in the back hooked up and **** it self about 0.3 secs latter lol any videos ? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Poor diff my arse, stupid fool in the drivers seat let go of the trans brake button at 6500RPM!!!. The diff never stood a chance, although in the car on the way home there was some talk of just replacing the axle, center is still very tight as it was able to get the car on the trailer with almost no assistance. I feel the diff could have lasted a more modest launch, maybe not so close to a limiter drop.

I was expecting more theatrics than just an axle.
