cant post pics but i have vz chasers on mine with 225 tyres on my vl and theres no way i can have a full car load, 2 skinnys in the back max. Sits on super lows at the back and can only fit my little finger between the tyre and the guard when no1s in the car. they look tuff but!! hope that helps

lol i have never seen a set of 16'' vz steel rims in my life and i work at a holden dealer ve are the same pattern BUT ve uses a 14mm stud compared to vl which uses a 12mm stud! you could fit them using vz alloy nuts but wouldnt recomend it due to the rim centre wouldnt seat properly on the hub so it would be relying on the studs to hold the rim on.. depends what sort of value you put on your life!!!

I would think only alloy wheels could be drilled though. Unless the steel rim is pressed after drilling you would loose the lip around the hub which would majorly weaken the rim, and the pre-recall rims (Non ROH) are already prone to cracking with excess heat, although we are talking heat that isn't usually acheived with normal braking.

do a search. i made a FAQ thread about the 16"s. vz 16"s were available on the crewman but are difficult to find second hand and stupidly expensive new. ve ceptors will look great. i had 225 60's on a set of walky's and they looked great. in the end i decided to onsell my ve's for cost because i didn't like the illegality of drilling the centres and also the things i found out about the ve ceptor's structural qualities. also the 15"s are cheaper for tyres. kind of makes the 16"s a pretty ordinary option unless all you want is the larger ceptor look.
