Ill be looking to buy a GT35/40 shortly and i need to decide if i want to go external gate or internal.
My exhaust manifold already has a provision for a 48mm turbosmart gate
But im really going for the stockish look....
How well can the internal gate hold boost? Looking at running anywhere between 7 and 25psi of boost.

7-25 is a big number in between and for boost... i know people runing 12-15 with ease on there internal but if you already have the external might as well just get the external turbo and get the wastegate plumbd underneath firewall some joints do it for you

Boost spike???
Boost creep???
Boost control???
Internal gate will do all this.

youve got a rb30 in a vs, why/how on earth would you be going for a stockish look? Your mainfold already has the prvosion for external so go external

I bet the only thing stopping you from going external is the epa problem?
As said in the other thread you made, hide it plumb it back you will have no problems, every tom dick and harry have a high mount with plenum dose pipe external gate and never get done...
do it once do it right
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
