****ing hell, this was the one car festival i really wanted to go to this year! I heard on the news today, Ballarat is one of the top hoon spots in Victoria.... Wonder why, **** we dont even have a proper 1/4mile, the local drag club is as good as it gets 1/8mile and its only open once every blue moon. And now they've shutdown Easternats...... in the middle of a recession WTF that event would have to bring tens of thousands of dollars into the local township. I was there when the council permitted easternats for 10 more years and now it blames the council and residents for not being able to come to an agreement. The agreement was already there. How dare they buy a cheap house near a race track and then complain about car racing! I wonder why easternats gets trampled on yet V8 super car racing continues. Absolute joke. We need a group to stand up for us.
