***BEFORE YOU READ ON THIS IS A BASIC GUIDE OF WHAT I DID ON MY VL CALAIS. I AM NOT A SPARKY AND HAVE NO TRAINING IN ELECTRICS AT ALL. USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK ANY DAMAGE I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS IS A BASIC GUIDE OF WHAT I DID AND WORKED*** Hey guys just finished wiring up my key less boot release on my s1 Calais finally got it working so i decided to put up a diagram of how i did it.. Basically my Alarm system (Mongoose M60s) had a boot release output wire witch is a Negative wire (not power) so in order for it to work i did this: to get power to pins 85 and 30 on the relay all you need to do is find a wire that has constant power i just ran a new wire from the positive terminal on the battery through the firewall and up into the dash and wired it straight up to the relay (because im lazy and didn't want to pull entire dash out) ill probably put a inline fuse on that new wire just haven't got around to it yet if anyone with a expertise in auto electrics can give pointers on how to improve this would be great also Cheers LowRyder Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
