Just want to check. When filling up the MX7 with oil - it should come up level with the fill hole?

yes. that is correct. i actually jacked mine up from the side the fill hole is on and added a little extra... just in case it makes an awesome difference when shifting. the filler bolts will be 1/2 inch and you will probably need a wire brush and some fuel to clean the dirt from the plug. the drain plug is magnetised to pick up any shavings. be sure to give it a really good clean. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its got new oil in it.. but when we filled it, the car was tilted backwards (ie, 2 jack stands on the front quite high).... getting some notchy shifts, so thought i'd check it out.
