not too sure yet man.. catching the Spirit over and planning on going to the hawks game at Aurora Stadium.. so somewhere fairly in the middle of both.. whats more popular?

id stay in devenport for a night go few clubs there i used to live in turners beach and would always go out there and most of chicks are damn fine

If you come to hobart there is O bar (salmanca), Telegraph (salamanca), Curlies (hobart cbd) and Cargo (salamanca), These are the better clubs/bars youll find decent chicks at and no bogans. A fairly strict dress code applies in some of these places. Then theres Iso (salamanca) and Syrup (salamanca) if you get desperate lol. If you stay in hobart over the weekend you want to be close to Salamanca, which is a 5 min walk from the CBD. Theres 3 clubs and 7-8 pubs here, its were its at basically for nightlife. 3am lockout in clubs so decide where you wanna be for rest of night before 3. although most of the clubs dont tend to force this sat night is only night worth going out on in winter and even then it can get fairly quiet if its **** weather.

As Andy said if you are going to the footy Launceston will be the place to go out. Should be a few out after the game too. You shouldn't have any problem finding somewhere with a few people, just stay away from a bar called the Hub otherwise you may find yourself being tampered with by other guys. If the slappas look pretty ordinary just down a few more shots. LOL
