Does anyone notice that ct slows down late at night? Pretty much every time it hits 12am for me it takes forever to load a page. Sometimes it slows down around 10pm... like right now It's not my internet because everything else is fast and I have tested my connection and can still download at that time at a average speed of 2000 kbps with the right server. Any reason why? Does ct run out of bandwidth or something? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

ide say it would just be an increase in traffic at night.

Yeah it's just the amount of people online, and then at about midnight the server performs some backups...

Have you ever had to use the back ups? On my old forums we only did it weekly lol.

yeah, we have had to use them a few times.. And with the amount of posts we have here if we did it weekly and something went wrong we could possibly loose 7000+ posts... (we average about 1,000 posts per day).

It's most likely due to your off peak period (set by ISP) as once off peak starts, everything will slow down due to everyone scheduling they're P2P downloads once off peak starts.
