Hi all, My VL currently has a VR SS interior, and whilst it looks nice because it has been re trimmed and what not, I want something new. . The reason being is that my VL is going to see some track time every now and then, so I wouldn't mind something a bit more 'buckety'. . Although still nice (no full on recaro's or bride's if you know what i mean) Im thinking some newer model SS or HSV seats??? If someone can recommend me something and perhaps throw up a few pics, and even tell me what is involved in making them fit, that would be great. . Thanks all, Josh

Coulsens if you want HSV. Sparco etc if you're serious. Sparco start at $400 a seat, right up to $5000 for carbon fibre.

the VE GTS ones are ****in hot!!!!!!!!!

As nice as the VE GTS ones are, you'll actually get more lumber support out of the VX ones - if you're after HSV style that is. Otherwise yeah agree with the others to go Autotechnica / Sparco / Monza / Recaro, etc if it's track/strip you're doin.

I have a monza seat and it ****in kills your back after a long trip. Something to keep in mind the sportier the seat the less comfortable unless the price goes way up. Even low end Sparco's and the like hurt after a while. If money wasnt a concern my choice would be the Recaro's like what you get in an STI those things hold you in and are very comfy. Those VE seats just made a mess in my pants ....

yea agreed man, the foam in the autotechnicas ive got is very firm, took a bit of getting used too, but i love em now, they hold you in real good round the corners. i posted pics of that ve gts interior a few months ago cos i found the car on ebay, heres some more:

scheels vl walky style aerotech recaro (option on late hdt's) devourish - vs gts / vn group a coulson - vx gts ve gts i would go one of the first 4 because once you go vt up the interior starts to get a bit full looking. coulsons are awesome to sit in though and hug you in very tight. the aerotech / walky / scheel have the added bonus of looking factory.

theres a write up here about different seats, it mentions aerotech and store in SA that stocks em, think they are called autosport: Autosport - agent for Aerotech +61 8 8332 8811 http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Sitti...1/article.html (http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Sittin-Pretty/A_0281/article.html)

HSV Devourish seats would be the way to go, Coulson's look too bulky in VLs IMO. Otherwise Recaro SR5’s - I’ve got them in my daily and they are very nice, even after being in them for 5+ hours

Must agree with NZ EVLHSV coulsons are way to bulky in a VL it's like 26" wheels on a vl looks wrong ... Cant go past SCHEELS .... Thats my 5cents worth anyway... Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
