Hey everybody how are u all im posting up a thread on my vlt i bought her in 2007 of an elderly man in belconnen for 3200 as a stocker with an rb20det i have spent ****loads since lol. she was a daily driver for a while with a calais front i bought of a workmate untill oneday excessive wheelspin blew my motor lol i have since then rebuilt the motor and threw on a plenum cooler throttlebody and boost controller set on 12 pound it decided to blow the gearbox so r33 rb25det gearbox conversion was done with a brass button clutch and then on the dyno it went to pull a dissapointing 189.1rwkw since then i have not had a chance to touch the motor due to starting the interior retrim in custom yellow leather thats to cut a long story short as u all would probly understand with vl common problems prettymuch plans are to do the diff.AND paint it wen im not too lazy lol new wheels and either get more power out of the rb20 or another motor . thanks boys any comments muchly apreciated will post a few photos now more to come though. <a href="http://s618.photobucket.com/albums/tt269/beanhead_vl/?action=view&current http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt269/beanhead_vl/Howitstarted.jpg Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol we are all down at Heathcote racing VLs. Your always going to struggle to make hp with a RB20. I would be pretty happy with 189rwkw for not so many mods.

Nice effort! Nothin wrong with the RB20 hey just keep on going lol. But if your guna spend money sell the 20 and get a 25 you'll be much happier and more power! And they cost bugger all now.

hey guys thanks for the comments yes they are the origonal winders lol gotta find black ones , no i bought it with the rb20 in it and na it hasnt been on the road for like 7 months lol and with the power thing weve finally got it running right and she kicks sideways into second so itll do for now lol but yea im thinkin about a different engine sometime in the future
