Hey, I've posted all my cars on this site and thought i'd do the same for this one.. Car is a is a red 2004 6sp manual series one 5.7L, specs are: Bought for $27,990 with 67,000kms back in Nov 2008 Full jet black leather interior with minor red stitching Holden option sports exhaust from new K&N flat panel air filter Personalised plates No engine mods Today I took it to 'Dunlop Spot On' in Ctown to get it lowered and I have before and after pics below..At this stage i only wanted new springs, so it's still running factory shocks (very bumby).. The front was lowered 20mm and the rear 40mm from FE2 starting level. Plans currently in progress are: Volt guage and oil pressure guage awaiting install Install of 'short shifter' stalk which just shortens height of gear knob..ebay item. Hope u enjoy the pics. UPDATE info/pics: update - fitted growler induction on friday, had it dyno tuned on saturday. did 205rwkw before hand and now has 242.4rwkw. sunday i resprayed ss rims i a shadow grey and also sprayed brake calipers and hubs in red. monday (this arvo) i sprayed the engine covers in the same grey as wheels and went over the writing in the ss red toush up paint... i think it's all an improvement and she now looks and performs really nice!! :-) anyways, here are sum pics!! very nice car , love the vy/vz look. manual is a plus too if it were mine id ditch the tow bar , mudflaps and window visor to make it look abit less like a family car. goodluck with it

Nice car man, but don't like the fact you lowered the rear more than the front. Holden built the car level for a reason...

just a decent excuse to refuse being a taxi service on nites out...plus i like that look. Most ppl would not even know notice it's lowered without a bit of rear end dumping. It's just one of a million vz ss's without things being done different i reckon.

yeah man, dont 2 stub axels, a diff now snapped a tailshaft in half... never ends! how it sits is nice now man, when you fit some 19s or 20s it will hug the guards better otherwise its scrub time! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

NZ EVLHSV, that's a decent chop job u modded my car with lol..I agree it looks better with the front even with rear..BUT i couldnt go any lower on the front because where i live, everyones driveways are 4wd friendly only. Plus everywhere i shop they hav those touch parking gutters which have claimed many ah front bar! The height as it is now, is fairly practical, Cheers.
