Surge tank. Brake booster is much thicker in the turbo/V8s, dual diaphram. Knock sensor. Oil return fitting. Engine pipe (dump to cat convertor section of exhaust).

If i was you, I wouldnt buy it. Its like a jig saw puzzle..... Alot of time is needed.

also you might want to ask why the motor was being sold off, could have done a head or spun a bearing.

yeah i understand what your saying, however it is the original engine to a VL bt1 im thinking of buying... its a genuine white vl bt1 turbo, all genuine turbo running gear such as diff and tranny (auto), it comes with the original motor, also a NA motor, body is no too bad needs a respray... anyway i was rather going to fix this up being a genuine bt1, or use the running gear for my VL, still unsure however im paying undere 2k for the whole thing... thoughts???

just because its BT1 doesn't mean it couldn't spin a bearing or do a head gasket. just because its a BT1 doesn't make it go faster, BT1 engines are thrashed engines and everyone knows that, and everything else will be thrashed. just my thoughts.

oh well okay then. well its what ever you want to do. the diff and tranny will be awesome if you can save up for a turbo motor. then you wont have the hassles of weak NA **** breaking when you do turbo.

crossover pipe, turbo intake bends, turbo heatshield, fuel rail. Not expensive but some of them can be hard to find.

hmm mate i will tell you something that you will prob learn the hard way figure out how long u think it will take u and double that source all parts locally if you can as its very hard to avoid being ripped off by forums/ebay as most of the users here are little kids and its very hard to chase them up when you dont recieve or end up with dodgey parts.
