I am putting a 6 point cromoly roll cage with bolt in side intrusion bars into my VL soon. Im just after any info I can get from people that have already been down this path.
The front im thinking of running the cage through the speaker holes. Where have you guys welded the rear cage to in the boot?
Also what ET is the cut off point for bolt in side intrusion bars? Not sure if you run 9s they have to be welded in?
Pics if you have them cheers.

i thought a basic 4 point was good till 9.99, so 6 point with bolt in side intrusion should be ok to a bit quicker than that? how quick do you wanna go?

you dont really have a choice where the bars go in the boot, they have to be welded to the chassis rails, and on the front its best to go through the speaker holes!
removable side intrusion bars are good till you run into the 8's, then you gotta weld them in.... but this is never really checked!

In my opinion, only one person to go to in Wollongong. My car is there at the moment and just needs one intrusion to be finished. Front and rear bars through the front and rear speaker holes....who needs music when you are listening to a pair of external wastegates.
Raceline Fabrications [phone removed]
Done VL's like ONO30T, STEALTH, couple of Motortech cars, and just finishing a couple of full chassis rotors....quality fabricator !!!!!

with a low pressure gun and mask everything up besides the cage. Was one of the worst jobs to do ever. Thats how we did mine in mine car.
