If its stock you should give the motor what it originally came with. If you plan on more mods maybe run a return line to a surge tank.

Not sure how stock it is all i know is it has a cam and mafless tune. It has a stock fuel rail so i think i'll try and copy a vy setup. Does anyone know what that is?

The stock system runs at 4 bar static pressure and has a return system in the MRA (intake pump and reg) The single fuel line will support ample power levels and is better for keeping a constant fuel temp. The constant fuel temp can be argued all day but tests have been done showing that hot fuel not returning from the rail doesnt raise the intank fuel temp, that is why your rail temp will remain at a steady temp throughout the day. Injector flow v's KPA is part of a calculation in the factory ECU when tune too.

Stock VL lift pump into a small surge tank, walbro inside the surge to keep noise down, AN-6 feed into the fuel rails. Now you can either mount the reg at the back of the car and run a non return style rail or put the reg up in the bay and run a AN-6 return. Ahhh have a look at this way.. non return The only difference with a return style reg setup is that it would come from the high pressure pump straight into the rails and then through the reg and return. If that makes sense. You won't need it though with a basic cam etc. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
