Project car btw So i replaced all the globes today thinking this was the issue. But when i press down on the brake pedal i get nothing. So i checked the booster (i think that what it is called) and there is a plug that connects to the bottom of it, which then plugs into the internal wiring loom. This plug howver looks like its broken, just hope it hasnt snapped off inside the booster =[ Anyone know what these are called? and can you get new ones from repco or just get one off a wrecked vl?

that plug is for the brake warning light on ya dash. it monitors brake fluid level. the switch you need is actually on the brake pedel. check your fuses and make sure there is power at one side of the switch then the other once pedel is pressed. vl light sockets are prone to rust and being ****ed

That sounds like the "no brake fluid" switch. It just switches a warning light on the dash.......nothing to do with the operation of the brake lights. Check the switch on the brake pedal. Check you have power at the switch and that you have power on the other pin when you press the pedal. If that checks out OK, you probably have a poor earth connection in the boot. And as stupid as this sounds, make sure you have a tail/stop combo globe.......not just a single indicator style globe. Edit.....i type too slow......what he ^^^ said

My indicators still work so i guess it must be something from the pedal, thanks.

id say cheak ur fuse (the horn fuse and the stop lamp fuse is tha same one - has to be the stupidest thing ive heard of, my horn stopped working one day, pressed it nothing, got home, checked the fuses and found out the fuse had blown cause of my horn which made it so my stop lamps werent working) cheak ur stop lamp switch and then still nothing cheak ur earth.
