My mate has just bought a 2hp air compressor which i think can supply about 70ltr a minute, would this be good enough to respray my bumber?
And how much am i looking at for a decent spray gun to do the job?

should be fine. alot of the time small compressors are a problem because they cant keep up with the constant flow, whereas, you can turn your compressor on and let it fill the tank right up first, which will give you a big headstart, coz ur only doing the bumper
as for a gun, i wouldnt stress too much, its only ur bumper. i'm no painter but have heard there are cheap (~$150) knock-offs of good guns that work well, dunno if you wanna spend that just to spray abumper though

one of these would do fine man:
(battery is for scale)
you can get em at any auto parts store for under 50 bucks, even less.
just get plenty of thinners to clean the bad boy out between primer/base/clear coats

70ltr per min is like 2.4 cfm

lol 2.47cfm to be exact
you sure its that low mate?
most 2hp compressors should be able to do around 8cfm

i think the formula is what ever the flow is per sec you divide by 28.32
example 170ltrs per sec /28.32 =6cfm
