mate you can always slap a 35 on a low mani with all standard **** but its gonna be very limited your better off doing plenum ecu and injectors and everything at once and getting a nice good tune in to it =]

Hey mate i have the 25mm spacers and longer studs needed to fit a 35/40 on standed vlt manifold if u need them let me know.Have done heaps of these set ups.Standed manifolds work great, ecu and injectors would run it but gains would be much greater with these upgraded.

yeh gm355 sounds like he's on to it. Garrett GT35/40, internally gated with a spacer kit, or externally gated with a spacer kit and wastgate plumbed into exhaust housing or manifold. Personally i'd just get an internally gated one so u dont have to spend money on an external gate and modifying to fit the gate. Internally gated 35/40 setups have run 10's down the quarter. Standard ecu and injectors will get boring as they wont be able to bring anywhere near the turbo's potential power out. So once u get over the standard ecu and injectors, look for some bigger injectors and fuel rail, maybe 600cc or more, and if u can find a cheap second hand ecu or just go for a nistune setup. Only other expenses i can see besides labour, would be possibly the modifying/fabricating of the cooler/intake piping and the dump pipe. and maybe an aftermarket fuel reg.

ok it should go pritty well so far i have a fresh moter hasent seen the road yet its been ported and polished stronger valves and springs .standard size cometic gaskit acl pistons balanced crank new rings and bearings and i got a 044 pump and sard reg but all standard turbo gear at the moment so if i put a 35 40 low mounted with 600cc injecters and niztune it should go all good ay

where do u work gm355?? so the tune at efi for a nistune setup works out to be around $700?? i went thru Mr Parts for my injectors and rail. I ended up getting seimens 600cc injectors and a PFE red anodised fuel rail kit for around $730 + postage. who's the best in the business to fit and tune a microtech lt10-s running a distributor setup? i can supply the ecu.
