Or i have been ofered mircotech lt8 with full harness to suit vlt running no afm will this work i no it would have to be tuned to suit my car? just thought this would be a way better option and also safe in the way of gettin tune spot on and on the safe side? how much would it cost to get a base tune? what boost is safe with this setup if running microtech? how much power could it maybe have? nothing has or will be dodged up as i want to be able to drive this car and give it a bit of stick iam awhere its not a vlt bottom end as i have had a factory vlt before.

bottom ends are the same dude aside from pistons havin domed tops to lower compression, so youll be safe there. im not exactly sure what youre askin tho man, your not sure bout ecu right? im currently gatherin parts for my n/a conversion, and im goin with a nistuned ecu. this shud be ample for your setup, if you have a good price for the microtech then yea you shud grab it, but your gona have to take the car to a tuner in either case, my remap of the vlt ecu is gona cost 880, which includes the remap and the dynotune. the safe boost levels AFAIK are more concerned with how much fuel/air you are running than your computer, i wana wind up to between 12 and 14 psi on a t3 hiflow, but the main concern is getting enuf fuel to the cylinders (injectors) and enuf air (afm), if both of these are tuned correctly you shudnt have a problem with running safe boost, even in a hi comp motor, as long as your compression is healthy to begin with. from what ive researched man nistune is very efficient and cost friendly compared to aftermarket management, depending on how far you want to go. there are several places in wa that have this software if your interested.
