Here's a story from the new NZPC magazine.
We ran 4 x 7s in a row, won the NZDRA Nationals then next time out straight off the trailer, 3 more 7s in a row resulting in a world record for RB30 at 7.86 @ 177.4mph, during the burnout before the 4th run of the day, the trans blew cutting our day short :bawling:
We believe that we are the first Import car in NZ to ever run 4 x 7s back to back, or 7 x 7s in a row at 2 meetings:

The 240z is now for sale less motor only for nzd30k including all street and strip spares and anything else we have for the car.
Worldwide shipping is easy an inexpensive.

01-10-09, 02:19 GMT+10#10 yes but what i really meant is its using all nissan components and is the 3 litre rb30 bottom end still so whats the problem ?
if you use vn efi 304 heads on a older style red 308 is it a 304 or a 308 still ?
get my drift.

Whys that? I'm sure there are other parts in the engine that aren't the same as how the RB30 came out

Can you call this a Holden 304? Because I'm pretty sure they didn't come out with that intake manifold

01-10-09, 10:24 GMT+10#17 I'm just asking what the difference is, nothing to do with he being kiwi... Why is it not called an RB30 just because it's got a different head on it?

01-10-09, 11:42 GMT+10#19 Well done guys. A great achievement. As RB30 enthusiastics we know the RB30 as a single cam engine. Not taking anything away from the car, its an animal. Nice work RIPS NZ.
