need to know is there 2 different types of lips ive seen the normal hdt boot lip but im pretty sure there is a smaller one ive seen that sits flush with the boot and doesnt stick out as much as the bigger one ...please help thanx

They are both supposed to fit flush with the top of the boot but some shops dont drill the holes low enough for it.
The other type is the rare GM one made out of rubber which I think is discontinued, see if you can get an original SV88 type?
