hey everyone I just picked myself up a 86 Executive wagon with 3 moths rego for $500. Everything is stock motors done 298,### ks but doesnt seem to drive to bad. dont have many mods for it as its only gonna be used as a run around for a few months, but its gettin lowered, cepters, high rise and sunnies holder, berlina door trims and front seats if i can find some, replacment plates just to make it look a little cleaner and a decent major service. heres some pics pic taken after I painted the bumpers to clean it up a bit So if anyone has any of the berlina interior parts for sale or some stockys (dont have to be chasers ie 7 wide but same look) they wanna sell or swap for the VQ statesman mags let me kno. mags have 2 225's with roadworth tread and 2 205's with tread around indicators i think. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

great colour its not very common. i would also tidy up some of those badges, they tend to fade. theres something in the tech section about restoring them. good luck

thanks mate, yeah i will either be removing the badges or restoring them. took it into work today and put it on the hoist and found out its got a 2.25 cat back exhaust with no rear resi. i just thought it had a hole in one of the mufflers lol. also was having trouble shifting into first and second, so sprayed some spray grease on the linkage and its working sweet now. also might have a hold of some berlina door trims

removed tow bar on Wednesday night and just finished installing an amp and sub. have paid for my high rise console just waiting for it to come in the post also picking up berlina door trims on Saturday. will post up pics when abit more happens

well picked up berlina door trims today thanks to vlwagz, a series 2 dash cluster for $30 and put that in, got 4 center caps and stockies for $40 2 tyres just above indicators and 2 need replacing, so will hopefully have them on soon. thanks for the offer xchase but yeah just got some today. vlwagz may be keen on the extractors in a little while got a few other things i wanna get done first

hmm i was going to hit you up to ask if you were an ex's brother as her little bro just bought the same coloured wagon but she said it had a grey int and it was manual. pretty hard to believe that 2 new p playters have picked up vl wagons in this colour in the last few months eh?

Yeah Matt it will be lowered, probably slammed lol i dunno if you ever saw my calais but that was pretty dam low. Finished cleaning up the door trims just before they came up a treat, and have fitted the rears. need berlina arm rests before i can fit the fronts. SIroller yeah I havnt really seen any in this colour either, but im on my P 2s so I don't have to display any P plates, and im in SA.

had a package waiting for me tonight when i got home it was my hirise. gave it a clean but havnt put it in the car yet. also put my ceptors on the front yesterday and got my tyres changed over to my other 2 ceptors today so got to put them on the rear. got rear short stroke pedders shocks through work for $50 (used but not for very long and still work perfectly). hopefully get front and rear springs this weekend. heres a few pics. also started covering my wagon rear thingys lol done one and have the other one out at the moment doing it. those trims came up mint. nah im not sure what the handles are worth.

i have a berlina wagon rear seat but its in grey so te wrong colour but.. pitty ill be watxhing this one seems to be coming along nicely and reminds me of my first vl wags same colour and interior only mine was manual and faded a bit but almost exactly the same good job mate.. cheers chris

got interior pretty much sorted now. got all door trims on, high rise, sunnies holder, series 2 cluster, still after steering wheel and posibly berlina seats. heres a pic and yeah im aware that the sunnies holder is a lighter colour but i got it for free so it will do for now.
