l'm running 12psi then goes back to 10psi with standard injectors and head, afr of 11 and have no problems according to the dyno, just running rich and l will adjust that from the afm whilst on the dyno.

t3 max is 14psi
11 with cooler is sweet just make sure your radiator is in good condition and flows good.. should be good just get a dyno tune to get it running nicely

max 14psi is a load of crap, my gold vlt i just sold only had 3" turbo back exhaust, and gkteck cooler kit, 15.8psi wasnt an issue.

if t3 maxes out on 14 psi what happens if you go past 14? blow turbo?
I thought if its on the dyno and there is no pinging and afr's are good it should be ok?

30-03-09, 13:19 GMT+10#10 the turbos dont max out on 14psi the thing is that the standard turbo computer injectors ect cant feed any more fuel then around 12-14 psi and it gets dangerous, you get pinging it leans out ect ect 11 psi if its all factory turbo computer 3ta or 3tm with turbo injectors (brown top) will be fine aslong as timing isnt to far advanced ect

30-03-09, 13:34 GMT+10#11 the standard wheels in the factory t3 werent designed to cope wih continuos 14psi plus boosts, as stone racing also pointed out the comp/injectors arent capable either. You can run 20psi through a standard t3 but the compressor map will show it is out of its efficiency range and you are spinning it up for no real gains. Also its only a matter of time before the wheel shatters.

pick two..
surely you've read that before
also presuming u are running an orig turbo engine with std turbo, vlt ecu and vlt injectors. 12psi just make sure u run 98 and its not pinging
if converted with std gear try keep it below 10.
if converted and still na ecu and injectors 6psi
if converted and running bigger turbo like ebay t70 whilst still on na ecu and injectors 4psi.

Street Commodores!! Anyway I got a t4 wheel whats the safest and most effecient psi to run providing my ecu, fuel stuff, inter, etc is up to scratch. I was hoping to have a daily 9 and 15 psi on the strip?!?

16-04-09, 17:03 GMT+10#16 What are the wheels and front housing?
also what comp?
My old turbo factory turbo with t4 fronr hosuing amd the highest flowing wheels that would fit, was maximg out my fuel system at only 11-12psi and 225rwkw And it was most efficemt at 18psi
